The Trade I Almost Did Not Take Changed My Entire Year
A frenzied, suspenseful story about hesitating on a signal and catching the second leg.

## 06:43 UTC
I was eating cereal when the signal hit. EUR/USD short, 1.0902. Something in my chest said no. I ignored it.
### 09:14 UTC
The trade was already at TP1. I had let it pass.
### 09:47 UTC
A second signal. Same direction. Tighter entry. Two voices in my head. One said: chase. The other said: skip. I did neither.
I built a third option. I sized half normal, set my stop wider, and entered on third bar close confirmation. My own modified version of the signal.
### 14:10 UTC
The trade hit TP2. Then TP3. It kept running. I trailed my stop.
### 21:00 UTC
I closed the position 187 pips later. My biggest single-trade win of the year.
### The plot twist
The lesson was not "always take the signal." Sometimes the discipline to skip, then re-enter on YOUR terms, is the play. The signal is the map. You are the driver.
